Okay, so, to start off with: I am genuinely amazed with how fuckin' long this first update is; 6-7 hours of content. I'm just blown away by that.
Now onto the actual review portion: The art is well drawn, all the characters are well-fleshed out, and the story kept me intrigued enough to continue reading despite the majority of the update taking place in a single room. You seem to have taken aspect of both Adastra and Far Beyond the World, but have majorly improved upon those absolutely dogshit games by making the MC actually intelligent and not a piece of stiff cardboard. Amazing.
Now on to the critical side of things (And for those idiots who think being critical of something you enjoyed is a bad thing, you need to grow the fuck up).
The grammar and punctuation, spelling and syntax is at times fucking awful. The formatting of the VN itself needs a shit ton of work put into it. There were times were no name came up for dialogue, and other times where the wrong name came up. I don't particularly like the direction the VN is going in either. Romance furry VNs are so oversaturated and they get very boring after awhile.
Overall, I enjoyed this VN quite a bit. I'll leave a link to my series on the VN:
I agree with you on almost everything, just I would not say its "fucking awful" a bit of an overstatement, but it's true that sometimes some things are out of the box but it still was pretty easy to understand what was happening (and I'm not even an English native). for the direction it is taking, I think it's a matter of taste there, I honestly like it but mostly because I'm into romance but at least is not random romance (i mean there is no romance yet which makes sense given the circumstance) and the fact the MC actually has a brain (as you said) help a lot so yeah

Do not take your opinion on something as the absolute truth. Its fine if you do not like those VNs, but insulting them (and everyone involved) is pretty stupid and childish of you, specially when they are between the top furry VNs and are used as the high quality standard and influence so many others.
Being an ass while doing a "hot take" is not cOol, get off your high horse and grow up.
i've heard of it accidentally on twitter and i decided to download it to see what it was about and BOY i was not disapointed!
all the characters are really lovely even if one of them is an ass, the scenes are beautifully drawn they all have their own unique little details, the story is catching etc etc...
But i've noted small problems too:
1- sometimes MC is speaking to a character but it looks like he's talking in his head because his name is nowhere to be seen and there's no quotation marks.
2- At one time Marruk is speaking but his name is still stuck to "doc".
So yeah there's small problems here and there but it will not ruin your reading experience.
Anyway i love this novel i'm so hype for the next update!!

You must have been working hard on this for a long time, initial release has least 4 builds (4 to 8 months of work) worth of content. And this is all just the Prologue and Chapter One!
I look forward to meeting all the other named characters (with sprites!) and some brief bits with other random/minor role (like the one ran into in the hall, a sprite or two) (these could also be replaced with CGs in event of multiple characters too), the amenities, and finding out the cause of the story!
Really love how you made all the characters as similar as they are different from each other, doing it in this way with no clear bias even from the MC, I may just do them all!
Alright, not gonna do a full review just yet, because that'll be a few pages long and it's getting late, so here's just the shots I'm calling.
1. Chief is evil, big bad, final boss, main antagonist, hate that dude.
2. Marrow is some kind of Bio-Bot (at least, more is artificial than he's letting on). I was originally thinking full android for various reasons (no smell, immunity to disease, no monitor, "I forgot", "that's the whole point", etc. etc.) but then he ate near the very end, and genuinely does seem to sleep. At this point I think he might even have been fully bio and we have a brain-scan situation on our hands.
3. Marruk lost someone close to him in the same accident that caused Rhoun's arm to get amputated.
4. The artificial gravity generator is going to be damaged/must be turned off at some point in the story and MC is going to be the only one to fix it/do it.
5. Chief is using the neural language AI to monitor the main cast constantly. Abusing the constant uploading they're doing of MC's speech patterns to a central database he can access.
6. Chief's "grand experiment" or whatever was what brought us onto the ship, and I'd even go so far as to say it did so intentionally.
7. Finally a silly one. There will be a naughty scene where the AI learns the English words for naughty parts. Later, these words will be used by MC in passing, but since the AI learned them it will translate perfectly, rather than that odd dissonance. This will fly over most characters heads, but one will later realize that MC talked dirty with one of the others.
I just wonder what they want out of the MC. He's the only alien to them in existence. Would they really let him live a free life on their home planet or something? Or would his life be under constant "protection"?
Excellent first update, cannot wait to see more. Certainly a gem in the wave of recent visual novels.
The word-building, though just hinted at, has left me intrigued; Albeit, the mystery might be doing much of the heavy lifting in that regard. I cannot wait to see more about this new universe. I have already fallen in love with the characters, and that's not just the wonderful art doing that, they are all uniquely captivating. Without spoilers, the first decision left me thinking for longer than I though it would -- a testament to the author's ability to leave me enthralled. Overall, a promising start that the author has proven to be more than capable to build on (which oddly enough isn't the norm with some of these visual novels).
I hope Doc treats the Main Character as a pet someday :3
Not sexually like, like a normal pet, since that's how he seems to see MC, tho probably unconsciously.
I mean if you see a sentient fennec fox that walks on two legs, would you hold yourself to not treat it as an adorbs pet?
Like with MC starting to ponder "Man, Doc is so nice to me. He gave me clothes, a warm bath and bed, minding what kind of food I can eat, thinking about me and my well-being, pampering me with pats... Wait a sec. Why does this feels I'm a pet?"
What a brilliant story xou've written so far! n_n Not only is the plot alluring, but the pace is done perfectly~ UwU Xou've contrived a unique list of characters, done a great job with the world building, drawn some lovely art, and kudos for straying from the gullible type of MC that accepts everything at face value! :P I really like how relatable he is :)
And making this VN even better is how freaking big xour 1irst update is! xD I was so sad when it ended "^__^ Can't wait for more~ keep up all the great work~! >_</
Wow. That was pretty amazing. I just finished the first build of the game, and the world-building, intrigue, characters, writing, music, art, it was top notch.
It is a testament to your writing ability that the majority of the game so far is spent in one room, yet it didn't feel boring at all. I love how we learn about the characters, the inner-monologue of the main character, and the mystery surrounding the station and how we got there.
The first few scenes were missing some punctuation marks, some mistyped words throughout, incorrect capitalization, etc. It didn't detract from the rest of the story though, it was only minor things. It's pretty crazy for a first build how much content there is though, so I definitely understand that the story is much more important than these minor issues at this point.
Thank you so much for such an amazing experience, I'm so inspired by your talent and the work that has gone into this. :D

Oh, I really didn't notice there were eyes in the static, I watched it over and saw them. Can I ask what is the timeline you estimate for build releases? 1, 2, 3 months?
Yeah its definitely a bit hard to say. This took me forever but I also started from scratch. Ill probably need some new backgrounds and some new sprites but im hoping for not too long. This took like 4-5~ months hah
this is so good and there were a few bugs in there I would like to say one of them is where I chose marowhen and nearing the end of the update marowhen name popped up twice when the mc name was supposed to
I usually head into new VNs not expecting much, but this... i was not prepared for something THIS good. I felt like I was constantly intrigued, especially for how much content there was for a first release? Like, wow haha, it was just so much fun to read overall! Not to mention the amount of time I'm sure that went into all the backgrounds, sprites, and CGs with all of those subtle variations; just amazing work.
I still playing on about 4 hours sleep in the span of 37 hours roughly. Suffice to say I am enjoying it.
However, as an anthropology student, I am shocked that there isn't a furry vn called 'Anthro-pology' at this point because games with this trope of finding oneself in a new world (which i love) is immensly anthropological XD. Stop making me think pls T_T
Such a stellar first build honestly, that animation and complete shift at the start got me SO hyped. I also really like the 'first contact' approach to that kind of plot device because it's a very different take on it imo. Aside from a few things incorrect with dialogue/ui here and there (hardly surprising with how much there was), I really appreciate the level of polish too. Very excited for more
what a fantastic read. I could spend way more hours just reading about how they learn each others' languages, mannerisms and cultures. Not to mention the crisp art, or the skillful writing abilities to evoke specific emotions.
I was so shocked this is only the first update of the game, the illustration and animation are literally amazing, the story is fun and the length of the game is really impressive for the first build and I really can't wait to see how the story and the VN pans out!
What an amazing first build! I was not expecting it to be around 4-5 hours long which was a pleasant surprise and I have to say that I really enjoyed the VN. The artwork is amazing and the story is also written really well. Each of the characters have their own personalities and I really enjoyed seeing the relationships between Tucker and the three potential love interests blossom. I can't wait to read more! Keep up the amazing work!
The Linux download worked perfectly fine for me, is it possible you had a download error? I doubt it matters, but just in case I used Ark to extract the files.
This is such a promising start, I can't wait to see where it goes! As a side note, I really liked the little changes between each character's room, really adds to the characterization in a subtle way. Literally even the way they stored their toothbrushes differed!

It took me an entire day (4am - 5pm) to read though this 1st build, yes with breaks in between. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I felt like I was constantly intrigued, especially for how much content there was for a first release? Like, wow haha, it was just so much fun to read overall! Not to mention the amount of time I'm sure that went into all the backgrounds, sprites, and CGs with all of those subtle variations; just amazing work.

I still playing on about 4 hours sleep in the span of 37 hours roughly. Suffice to say I am enjoying it.
However, as an anthropology student, I am shocked that there isn't a furry vn called 'Anthro-pology' at this point because games with this trope of finding oneself in a new world (which i love) is immensly anthropological XD. Stop making me think pls T_T

Such a stellar first build honestly, that animation and complete shift at the start got me SO hyped. I also really like the 'first contact' approach to that kind of plot device because it's a very different take on it imo. Aside from a few things incorrect with dialogue/ui here and there (hardly surprising with how much there was), I really appreciate the level of polish too. Very excited for more

what a fantastic read. I could spend way more hours just reading about how they learn each others' languages, mannerisms and cultures. Not to mention the crisp art, or the skillful writing abilities to evoke specific emotions.

I was so shocked this is only the first update of the game, the illustration and animation are literally amazing, the story is fun and the length of the game is really impressive for the first build and I really can't wait to see how the story and the VN pans out!

What an amazing first build! I was not expecting it to be around 4-5 hours long which was a pleasant surprise and I have to say that I really enjoyed the VN. The artwork is amazing and the story is also written really well. Each of the characters have their own personalities and I really enjoyed seeing the relationships between Tucker and the three potential love interests blossom. I can't wait to read more! Keep up the amazing work!

The Linux download worked perfectly fine for me, is it possible you had a download error? I doubt it matters, but just in case I used Ark to extract the files.
This is such a promising start, I can't wait to see where it goes! As a side note, I really liked the little changes between each character's room, really adds to the characterization in a subtle way. Literally even the way they stored their toothbrushes differed!
